Wayne is a former Bafana Bafana and current Orlando Pirates goalkeeper. Through an interview, he will share on matters of faith and football. He will be sharing how he came to trust Jesus and how his faith has guided his soccer career. Another highlight of the evening will be a foosball and FIFA competition. The winner will take on Wayne for a once-in-a-lifetime, next level bragging rights. Beating Wayne Sandilands at FIFA will be a worthwhile story to tell your grandchildren one day!

with Lito Nunes

Lito is a partner at major auditing firm, Deloitte. Through an interview, he will share his story of succeeding in the business world, his faith in Christ, and coping with the death of his son. Anyone seeking success in the corporate world—or in general—would find his story fascinating. James Buchanan, lead pastor at Hope Church, will preach into the topics raised by Lito.

There will be a full program for kids and youth aged 0-16.

Tea, coffee, and a relaxed vibe will be provided after the service. X&O Cronuts and Have Wings will be selling food.

Akani is a keen political commentator who has written for News24 Voices and has a large Twitter following. In an interview, he will comment on questions of politics and power in South Africa and how faith in God affects one’s political outlook. Musa Ntinga, lead pastor at Christ Central Soweto, will preach from the Bible on the topics raised by Akani.

Storybook Festival

with all your favourite characters

Join us in celebrating the world’s storybooks! There will be a book swap, opportunities to buy and win books, a character dress up competition, and you can hear the greatest story ever!

There will be lots of fun activities for children, including a jumping castle, face painting and snacks.

Reconciliation and Forgiveness

with Rory Steyn

Rory worked for Nelson Mandela as a bodyguard. As such, he has unique stories of forgiveness to tell; not only of Mandela, but also of Christ. After enjoying these stories, S’bu Mdluli, a minister at Hope Church, will lead us into the Bible where we find unique resources for forgiveness and reconciliation. 

There will be a full program for kids and youth aged 0-16.

Tea, coffee, and a relaxed vibe will be provided after the service. Spicy Samoosa will be selling samoosas.

Meta is famous for her role as Xolelwa on Generations. She is followed by 85 000 people on Instagram. In an interview, Meta will discuss her identity in Christ and how this relates to her mindset regarding fame, the approval of others, and social media. Thereafter Sinethemba Hliso, a minister at Hope Church, will address the topics raised by Meta from the Bible.
